…interior space
The interior of «Paradisos» has been made in a way which reflects the colors and style of the traditional Pelion architecture. After small interventions that were made all the years since its inception, the time has come for a «brave» and in-depth renovation of the interior. On December 4, 2015 after three months of constant and heavy work, «Paradisos» re-opened completely renewed, with a strong element of stone and wood and with influences from traditional houses in Pelion.
The blend of red and blue Pelion stone combined with various natural shades that traditional Pelion tiles have on the floor, create an effect which can only be found in old mansions in the area.
Interior space is decorated with monastery style furniture, entirely handmade, as well as antiques collected and restored with care. The walls are decorated with traditional paintings created by a local painter George Bonelos, illustrating major area attractions (i.e. Milopotamos).
The highlight of the interior design is the wooden construction on the ceiling that blends harmoniously with the stone and the colors, giving a unique sense of warmth.
