Each district sized as an entire village…
Tsagarada consists of four districts, with different color each one. It is no exaggeration to note that each district could possibly be as big as an entire village.
It should be noted that there isn’t a point from where you can ever see the entire village, unless you ship to go overboard and pull out just 1-2 miles from the coast.
Benchmark for each district is the central square with the church dominates imposing. It’s district was named after the main’s square church.
Thus, each district has its own patron saint, during the celebration of which, there is a traditional festival that takes place.
Completely coincidentally, the three districts (Agia Kiriaki, Agia Paraskevi, Agios Stefanos) celebrate during the summer, therefore many locals as well as tourists gather and take part at the local festivals.
In return, the district of Agioi Taxiarches traditional festival takes place during the celebration of Agioi Apostoloi, the church which is located nearby the central square.
